Zurphy – Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using Zurphy, you agree to these Terms of Service.

2. About Zurphy

Zurphy is a platform that connects users with verified independent wellness experts, including but not limited to yoga teachers, meditation instructors, fitness coaches, massage therapists, and other wellness practitioners.

Zurphy provides tools for discovery, booking, communication, scheduling, and payment processing.

3. Independent Experts

All experts using Zurphy are independent service providers.

Zurphy is not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of services provided by experts.

Users are responsible for determining whether a service is appropriate for their needs.

4. User Accounts

Users must provide accurate information when creating an account.

Users are responsible for maintaining the security of their account and password.

5. Bookings and Payments

Payments are processed securely through third-party payment providers.

By booking a session, users agree to pay the listed price and applicable fees.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

By completing a booking, users acknowledge and agree to the cancellation and refund policies described below. When a refund is issued, funds may be returned to the client's original payment method and the expert's payout may be adjusted accordingly.

Client-Initiated Cancellations

• More than 24 hours before the session — Full refund. The client receives a full refund to their original payment method. Because Stripe does not refund processing fees on refunds, the refund amount is reduced by the original Stripe processing fee — this fee is borne by the client, not the expert. Any portion paid via Zurphy Money is credited back to the client's wallet.
• Within 24 hours of the session — Late cancellation. No refund is issued to the client. Instead, 90% of the payment is transferred to the expert as a late-cancellation fee; the client forfeits the remaining 10%.
• Rescheduled sessions. If the expert has rescheduled the session, the 24-hour cancellation window is waived — the client may cancel and receive a full refund at any time prior to the new session time.

7. Reviews

Reviews may only be submitted by users who have participated in a booked session through Zurphy.

Fraudulent, misleading, abusive, or defamatory reviews may be removed.

8. Prohibited Conduct

Users and experts agree not to:

• Provide false information
• Harass or abuse others
• Attempt to bypass platform payment systems
• Engage in fraudulent activity

9. Limitation of Liability

Zurphy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zurphy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from use of the platform.

10. Changes to These Terms

Zurphy may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updated Terms.
